SQL Everything does not collect any data. The extension runs fully on your device. I do not collect, store, or share anything.
What the extension does with your data
- It downloads the sheets you choose from Google, using your own Google login.
- It reads the CSV, TSV and TXT files you choose from your computer. The files are never uploaded.
- It reads the tables you paste into the paste box. What you paste is read as text in your browser and is never uploaded.
- It runs your SQL queries inside your browser. The results stay in the panel.
What is saved on your device
Your saved queries, your theme, your "rows shown" choice and your last query. By default, the extension also keeps the tables you loaded (from sheets, files and pastes), so they are still there when you reopen the panel. All of this stays in your browser storage on this computer. Nothing is sent to me or to any other server.
You are in control. The setting "Keep my tables and query after closing" turns this off and deletes the saved copy. The "Clear" button removes your tables and their saved copy. If you remove the extension, Chrome deletes everything it stored.
Permissions
The extension asks for a few browser permissions, only to read the sheet you open and to show the panel.
This website
The website sqleverything.app uses Google Analytics, like most websites. This applies only to visiting the page. It does not apply to the extension.
